The Granville Arts Commission was founded in 2004 to provide financial grants to enhance Granville's cultural arts and support artists and artistic events, activities, education, and programs that enrich the community.

 
 

HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT:

Arts and cultural organizations or individuals based in Granville or benefiting the Granville community can apply for funding grants from $100 to $1,000. Grants are reviewed monthly and awarded based on the proposal's contribution to the mission of the Granville Arts Commission.

 In reviewing applications, the arts commission is guided by:

  • The artistic merit of the proposed activities.

  • Service to the community – how well the proposed program will bring the arts to the local community.

  • The ability of the applying individual or organization to carry out the proposed activity.
